Civic Engagement Projects

Chair: TBA. The four objectives of this effort are: citizenship; crime prevention, safety, and disaster preparedness; the needy, hungry, and homeless; and our military personnel and veterans.

Community Impact Program

Chair: TBA. This is a GFWC award offering clubs a financial incentive to impact a specific goal or concern in their community. The award offers clubs flexibility in deciding how to approach and implement the goal.

Chair: Teri Lippert. We promote education to help others while we also continue to learn. Projects are designed to foster schools, promote literacy, libraries, and the love of a good book.

Epsilon Sigma Omicron (ESO)

Chair: Marlon Carrier. ESO is an honorary educational society open to GFWC club members. It began as an education program in 1928 to assist clubwomen to read and study systematically.

Health and Wellness

Chair: TBA. This Commmittee explores the various opportunities for awareness and advancement of each of these vital areas: nutrition, disease prevention, and physical and emotional care.

Legislation and Public Policy

Chair: TBA. This committee's goal is to increase awareness of new and pending legislation and public policy and to promote those policies that improve our communities.
