Scholarships are available for students who live and go to school in one of the local club areas.  Simply use the scholarship application of the local woman's club nearest to you.  To be considered for a De Anza District Scholarship, you must include the information listed below.

HOW TO APPLY

 

Once your local woman's club scholarship application is complete, prepare a cover letter and include the community college or university you plan to attend, your GPA and please sign your cover letter.  ​Also, be sure your application includes the following information:

ACADEMIC INFORMATION:

  • Cumulative GPA (include a copy of your transcript)

  • Rank in Class

  • SAT scores, verbal, math, written

  • Major academic interests in high school

  • Extracurricular activities and interests

FINANCIAL NEED:

  • Occupation of parents or guardians

  • Job experience

  • Plans for financing college

  • Have you saved any money for college?

  • A letter describing your financial need

PERSONAL ESSAY:

  • Past experiences

  • Hobbies and interests

  • Future plans with an emphasis on educational and vocational goals

LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION:

  • Please limit to three letters of recommendation
